Christmas party with a programme
Christmas Party in Kassel
From strolling the Christmas market to a real team experience – six proven formats from €35.95 per person.
The Christmas market as a backdrop
Kassel plays its Grimm heritage: the Fairytale Christmas Market takes a different tale by the Brothers Grimm as its theme each year — they spent part of their lives here. On Königsplatz stands a fairytale pyramid 22 metres high across six tiers, regarded as the largest Christmas market pyramid in the world.
That is exactly what makes Kassel a good place for a Christmas party that amounts to more than a buffet and a speech: the atmosphere is there anyway, you only have to use it. We bring the programme – outdoors on Königsplatz or indoors in the warm, whichever suits your group.
Kassel lies almost exactly in the middle of Germany and is reachable from every direction via the Wilhelmshöhe ICE hub. For teams spread across the country it is regularly the place with the shortest total journey — and with the fairytale theme it has a distinguishing feature no other market offers.

Outdoors
The Christmas Rallye leads your teams through the city centre with tablets, with stops on Königsplatz. New this season: battlespots, where two teams meet and compete head to head. Rettet Weihnachten is the outdoor escape variant.
Indoors in the warm
Beat the Red Box is an escape game at the table – it needs nothing but a room and works for up to 500 people. The Christmas Quiz Show with a host is the version where everyone can stay seated.
Hands-on
With gingerbread house building you compete in small teams – and the houses go home with you. With Christmas Domino, thousands of tiles become one shared picture that falls in a chain reaction at the end.
Planning on the ground
On the location: The annually changing fairytale theme is a template that exists nowhere else — if you like, the rally tasks can be tuned to it. We settle that together during planning.
On the room: Around the centre and the Karlsaue there is hospitality for groups, plus conference hotels at Wilhelmshöhe station. The indoor formats need a space with tables.
On the running order: The programme belongs at the beginning, not the end. After dinner and the second mulled wine you will not get anyone moving – beforehand everyone is open to it, and the meal afterwards tastes better once it has been earned.
On the date: The weeks from late November through December are the busiest of the year, and Fridays go first. Plan early and you have the run of the calendar – more on that in our article planning your Christmas party early.
On getting there: ICE hub Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, 2h from Frankfurt, 2.5h from Hamburg/Berlin
