About the Event
Beat the Box is a mobile escape game for companies: teams of four to six people crack an aluminium box full of puzzles in 1.5 to 3 hours – in your rooms, at the conference hotel or outdoors.
One aluminium box per team, lots of puzzles and a ticking clock – the race against time begins. An anonymous hacker attack threatens the company, and only those who crack their box in time can stop it. You play in teams of four to six people, every team gets its own box – the more participants, the more boxes are in play. The first puzzle sits on the outside of the box and opens the lid. Inside it continues level by level: two intermediate lids are secured with up to four locks each, and every lock has its own code. How many puzzles wait before the bottom of the box depends on the event duration. Only those who work together, think logically and coordinate get all the way down before time runs out.

How big are the teams at Beat the Box?
You play in teams of four to six people. Every team gets its own box – with 60 participants that means around twelve boxes in play. Our guide handles the team split on site, following your seating plan if you wish.
Can Beat the Box take place in our own office?
Yes, in fact that is the most common case. We need one table with about 1.5 metres of space per team, a power socket for the projector and around 45 minutes to set up. Conference room, canteen or conference hotel work just as well.
