Rostock has a mild Baltic Sea coastal climate with cool summers and moderate winters. The proximity to the sea provides fresh breezes. For GPS rallies we recommend June to August – that's when the weather is most stable and a detour to Warnemünde is particularly appealing.
Good to know: Our GPS rallies include rain ponchos and sunscreen – we're prepared for any weather! The tablets are waterproof protected.

We meet at a central point in Rostock (e.g. Neuer Markt, Kröpeliner Tor or your venue). Our team guides welcome you, explain the tablets and the rules. Teams are divided and equipped.
Start of GPS Rally
Teams start staggered or simultaneously. The tablet leads via GPS to the first station. There are tasks waiting: photo challenges, puzzles about Rostock's history, creative tasks or team games. Collect points and move on to the next station!
Discover & Experience
The route leads through Rostock's highlights: Past St. Mary's Church with its astronomical clock, through Kröpeliner Street, to the city harbor or through the charming university quarter. New challenges await at every station – and in between there's time for a fish sandwich!
Awards Ceremony & Evaluation
